Boston Frostin's Radio Debut

Thanks to my lovely roommate Kate who works at iHeartMedia, I just had the opportunity to bake for Ashlee Feldman on the JAM'N 94.5 morning show. Her birthday was today and we were told she's a fan of Alice in Wonderland and Harry Potter. I had no clue how to approach Alice in Wonderland cupcakes, so I ended up making these:

I made the glasses and HPs by drizzling Wilton Candy Melts on parchment paper in the shapes I wanted using Wilton Disposable Decorating Bags. So much easier than I expected! This stuff dries so quickly and is way better than melting standard chips - tons of fun colors, too.

So, back to the radio show...I didn't want to get my hopes too high, but I was told that this might result in an on-air shoutout and/or social media mention. I was lucky enough to get both!

Here's the clip:

AND, got some great Instagram publicity from this post:

Thanks so much to Kate, Ashlee and the JAM'N morning show crew for being Boston Frostin' fans! It's not every day you get a free plug on a popular Boston radio station during rush hour! I'm totally feeling the Boston love right now and am beyond happy that this amazing city is my home.
